Someone or someones with nothing better to do hacked one of my email accounts, leading to aggravation and causing concern from many who kindly wrote to me. I know this has happened to many friends.
Why do the animus-driven do it? What pathetic and perverse adolescent satisfaction do they get?
In my case, I suspect this may have been the work of a handful of obsessed detractors who see me as worse than the anti-Christ, while posturing as holier than thou politically. Unwilling to discuss or debate whatever differences we may have, they have recently taken to sending vicious smears to people I work with, alleging and inventing high crimes and misdemeanors on my part (signed with false names and addresses, of course) to disparage and demean me and presumably make themselves feel more important.
The allegations are totally false but their often anonymous diatribes are annoying in the extreme. These are not people that go after the banks or bastions of economic oppression.
What he mainly does is insist, when Democrats aren't in the White House, that he doesn't care who's in power and, when Democrats make it into the White House, offer non-stop excuses for them (at one point, apparently attempting to rise to the post of cleric in the Cult of St. Barack, Danny had Barack being held hostage and brainwashed and threatened by the Pentagon to excuse away Barack's actions). When that doesn't work out so well, he'll rush to tell you how awful the Republicans are.
That 'logic' is as insane and useless as Schechter himself. It's as if you're saying, "Republicans will rob you at gun point and have bad breath, Democrats will just rob you at gun point." Either way, you're still being robbed.
