I don't give a damn about Lay-lay. What a little cry baby. I just wanted to slap her and say, "People are being killed, grow the hell up you whiny little bitch."
She's an adult. One who was going to be married. She needs to grow the hell up. "My father's an alien!" It's not a surprise, you knew that two, three episodes ago. You just kept denying it.
So while knowing that (but denying it), she's been trying to save her little sister. She finally does Monday night -- two episodes aired Monday. And then she learns her father wants to see her. Her father she's been dying to see. It's all: Are you an alien? How could you! Wah! Wah! Wah!
Laylay, you stupid little bitch, your mother is dead. The people you are running from killed your mother. They kidnapped your sister, they kidnapped you. Grow the hell up.
She was so bad, I didn't even care about the Ritter boy because he had to be all whiny around her.
If you leave those two out, the two episodes were really something and packed quite a punch.
Virginia Madsen is someone I haven't seen since the film The Hot Spot. She's playing a senator whose husband just died so she was appointed to fill the seat. And she's not to be messed with. Blair Underwood (who really needs to lose about 40 pounds) plays the president as such a pompous ass (so I guess he did a lot of research) and he thought he was going to trick her, that she was stupid. She proved she wasn't. Then he thought he would intimidate and bully her. She took it to MSNBC's Hardball. She's a great character.
And the bald guy? The one who played the creep on Heroes and does here as well? I think he's Homeland Security or something. He went out to the secret prison in Alaska to question Maya and was there when Thomas hit it. He and one Marine had to take on all of them and it was really something. Except for whiny Laylay, the show moved so quickly.
And let me remind everyone, for a bit there, we all thought Laylay's father was dead. That was like three or four episodes where everyone on the plane was supposed to have died. So to have Laylay being such a little idiot was really annoying.
