In "Tuesday: Jumping the Shark," she's again demonstrating to America how stupid she is:
In the past two decades, those of us on the left have watched with increasing alarm at the rise of the right wing noise machine. I forgot who called it the Wurlitzer but it’s an accurate description. The Wurlitzer is loud, rude and everywhere.
You stupid little girl. Can you get an education, you damn fool. The Wurlitzer isn't right wing, isn't left. It is governmental. It was exposed by Carl Bernstein in a major article for Rolling Stone. I knew that but Riverdaughter doesn't because she's so damn ignorant. That's why it's so hard to get through one of her posts, she's just so stupid. And she never realizes it. She is the idiot int he room asking if raisins turn into grapes. Click here for various articles about the Wurlitzer.
Now in the post I linked to above, she's screaming and fretting. What's really going on is she thinks she can rewrite her own history. She can't.
"failure to discriminate" was her first attempt and she opened with:
Tucson. I hope this is the last day we beat this dead horse.
In the past week, I have stayed away from TV and radio and most blog sites. At first it was because I was tied up with something else that needed my full attention. But as a the week wore on, I deliberately stayed away and only read an occasional piece in the NYTimes regarding the progress of Giffords’ recovery. And here is the result of my deliberate isolation from the media frenzy.
The media frenzy? It was The Confluence, Riverdaughter's site that live blogged a memorial. How tacky. How ambulance chasing.
So after that, she's in the sewer. She's not climbing out of the gutter. Why's she pretending otherwise?
Because she's one of the loons who insisted the shooter was all about Sarah Palin. Now we know the shooter was nothing about Sarah Palin. So Riverdaughter thought she could walk it back and pretend like her crazy was on full display. Now she's screaming at her readers in post after post when what she needs to do is very simple: "Regarding my original commentaries on the shooting, I was obviously wrong. My apologies."
It's amazing how few can do that. I had C.I. as a role model. If she makes a mistake, she owns it. She doesn't try to hide it. She'll put in one post after another that she was wrong. She doesn't think she's perfect and she knows she'll be wrong again. But because she's not touchy about it, she's not screaming and yelling at the people who read The Common Ills.
And, honestly, considering her post picking apart Sarah Palin's use of "blood libel," maybe someone should point out that referring to Tuscon as a "dead horse" really isn't appropriate. But she's stupid so let's not hold it against her.
Here's C.I.'s "Iraq snapshot:"
