The post is supposed to leave all us women folk awe struck. Why is it that whenever a man strings together two words he thinks he's really accomplished something?
Some feminists were against abortion. Some. Not all. Not all the pioneers. Rocket is woefully uninformed and can only name the few pioneers he's heard in the media over and over.

Hey, Rocket, take a look at me. I'm not just a woman, I'm a Black woman.
You know what? Some of those early feminists were in favor of slavery. That's what happens with any movement that goes back centuries -- and the feminist movement goes back before Mary Wollstonecraft -- though Rocket doesn't know that.
Here's something else. Some of those feminists? They might have been in favor of using leeches or against the polio vaccine. Who knows. But they were different times.

Riverdaughter has a semi-readable post entitled "SOTU Live Blog: Spotting the buzzwords" -- not a fan but I'll give her credit for that. (It went up this evening.) An e-mail asked me if I had noticed that she was writing about "punching" while decrying violent rhetoric?
I hadn't. I went back and saw that last week, yes, she did do exactly that.
A few e-mails asked where Myiqis2 is now? His friend's blog, The Crawdad Hole. So you can find him there.
Here's C.I.'s "Iraq snapshot:"
