Is that what that fat ass just said?
I'm obviously not a fan of Scalia's. He can kiss my Black ass. But? James Oliphant and David G. Savage (LA Times) report:
The decision by Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia to accept an invitation from Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.), the founder of the House's Tea Party Caucus, to speak to incoming House members about the Constitution is drawing fire from some who worry the court is injecting itself into partisan politics.
The meeting "suggests an alliance between the conservative members of the court and the conservative members of Congress," said Jonathan Turley, a law professor at George Washington University, who said Scalia had shown "exceedingly poor judgment."
You know what I say? So what.
I would have been outraged in 2007. But we've now had Barack Obama deliver a State of the Union address where he called out the Supreme Court over a decision he disagreed with. (I disagreed with the decision as well, FYI.) That was uncalled for. As far as I'm concerned, Scalia can speak to whomever he wants in Congress.
Do I think it will help me?
Hell no. Scalia hates my Black, female, lesbian ass. He's going to try to destroy everyone of my rights.
Maybe he'll succeed?
I don't know. I hope he doesn't.
But you can't attack the Court as Barack did and not expect some push-back.
