Nancy Pelosi appears to have realized she has destroyed her own image in ways she never imagined. In the '00s, if nothing else, she had the 'I'm a strong woman and I support women' image. She trashed that in 2008 to stab all women and Hillary specifically in the back.
Now today POLITICO notes Nancy's declared that she thinks Hillary should run in 2016.
Shove it up your ass, Pelosi.
It's too damn little, too damn late.
You worked overtime to destroy Hillary. It's too late for you to pretend to be about the women now. You made your bed and you can lie in it.
What you can't do is trick any of us who paid attention in 2008.
You ensured that we would not have a female president in the near future. That is on your cut throat head. Gender traitor, there is no forgiveness for you and we're not nearly as stupid as you hope we are.
New topic, don't miss Kat's "Kat's Korner: Falling in (and out of) love with M. Ward" -- it's a great one. Second, don't miss Unforgettable on the last hour of prime time Tuesday night, CBS. I have not had time to watch last week's episode. I'm sorry. My great aunt ended up in the hospital Tuesday. A number of you pointed out I wrote very short pieces until Saturday.
That's how I am when my mind's on something else. She got to go home Saturday morning. She has a relative that lives with her and is supposed to take care of her and she has a nurse that comes in. The nurse came in last Monday and saw that my great aunt was dehydrated, confused and more. So she was admitted to the hospital Monday morning but I didn't get told until Monday at 9:00 pm. I was really worried as anyone would be. I saw her Tuesday before work and after work. And I did that on Wednesday and Thursday. Friday morning, I went to visit and she told me she was being discharged on Saturday and she didn't need all the fussing (I wasn't the only one visiting) but if I wanted to help her out, she could use a bag of peanut M&Ms. So I went right down to the first floor where the store is and bought her several of those (and some gum because she always chews Dentine). I called and spoke with her Friday afternoon and she called me Saturday morning to say, "Ha! I told you I'd be home!"
The relative that was staying with her? He's not anymore. He has demonstrated he can't do much of anything but cash her check. One of my aunts is staying with her now. I have offered to help out if I'm needed. If that happens, I will probably do something here like, "Keeping my great aunt company tonight, so I'm not able to blog, sorry."
Anyway, I will blog about last week's Unforgettable tomorrow night (I plan to watch the show just as soon as I get this posted).
Here's C.I.'s "Iraq snapshot:"
