She's suddenly high on Hillary and thinks she should be president in 2016. She didn't feel that way in 2008 when she trashed Hillary non-stop.
I don't see her column as a real one. I see it as another coordinated message from the Democrats as they try to attack Republicans because they have nothing to offer voters.
In 2008, if you don't know, I got off my lazy butt and campaigned for Hillary.
If she was running in 2012, I'd vote for her.
I wouldn't set out not to vote for her.
But 2016? Not only will she be older but time will have moved as well. I'm not putting down a marker for that right now.
I also think she's hurt by being Barack's Secretary of State.
But what I mainly think is: Maureen Dowd, you are one of the reasons she didn't get the nomination.
