Is that not just beyond cute? It's Isaiah's The World Today Just Nuts "Alice In Barackland" went up this morning.
I love it and get what C.I. wrote earlier this week about Isaiah being unhappy with his attempts thus far because he wanted the comic to "pop." The colors are really something. I can't believe he tried and tried and tried. I think after the second attempt, I would've shrugged and said, "Eh, here it is."
Great. Ruth just called me and asked, "Marcia, are you having blogger problems?"
And then I looked at the bottom of the screen where it says "Could not contact Blogger.com. Saving and publishing may fail."
Great. I don't have all night to play around. I swear I can't stand Blogger sometimes.
People ask me sometimes if they should blog, would they like and what's the worst part about it?
The first two questions, it depends. The third one is this. Being ready to blog and realizing I probably won't be able to. I'll probably have to leave the laptop up and running all night and hope that come the morning Blogger/Blogspot is working and I can hit publish and get my post up then.
I wanted to write about Syria. And probably should.
But when you've got the message about how your post could easily be lost, it becomes, "Do I really want to waste my time going into all of that for a post that might not even publish? That might end up lost?"
So if you're thinking about blogging, I can tell you it is a lot of fun. It gets you feedback from people who love or hate what you write which is good. Makes you think.
But where it sucks is when you're ready and the technology isn't.
Here's C.I.'s "Iraq snapshot:"
