Better topic. I know how to take photos on my cell but I could not get them to send. I could send them to another phone but it would not send over the web.
It works now. Thanks to C.I. I was griping about that tonight and she heard me, grabbed the phone and set it up, plus she jacked it for me so I can tether with it. She even did some stuff mechanically, got out her nail file and went inside.
Now for The Event.
I had more e-mails about it getting the axe this week than ever. I even went online to see if there was some announcement. There's not. The show has not been given the axe.
It could. It's ratings haven't been great or even good.
What I am hoping is that the network realizes they (a) have worse problems and (b) that the show has gotten more involving with each episode.
If it has a second season, I'll be watching and blogging about it.
I think it's a really good sci fi show and, except for Fringe, there's really not one on the networks.
Fringe is a good show and I watch now but when it started I didn't.
And I thought, "It's been on for over a year and a half so what's the point." And felt that way really until the start of this year. Mike kept telling me that (a) if I had a question, he'd answer it and (b) that I really would be able to follow even coming in late.
If I owned a network, Monday through Friday, the last hour every night. If I owned NBC, I'd bring back The Event because I do think it's picking up speed. I'd also make a point to repeat it each Saturday night with two other shows so that I could build up the presence of the show.
But The Event hasn't gotten the axe yet and maybe it won't.
Here's C.I.'s "Iraq snapshot:"
