This episode was called something like "Off With The Head."
Sofia wants to kill the president.
First off, she's bringing 2.5 billion of her people onto this planet. There's not enough room on earth for all those people with the population we already have.
So she's going to kill off a large number of people here.
This is the same Sophia who used to worry about innocent lives. It's been a complete transformation.
She called the vice president and they set up a meeting. He was suspicious so we know he is not the alien in the White House (it's the First Lady). She told him they would kill the president and he would become the new one. She gave him some poison or something like that in a sugar substitute package and he put it on the saucer. So the president should be about to use it next episode.
Hal Holbrooke killed himself. In front of Jason. But not before telling Jason that he was the only one who could stop the aliens. And not before telling Jason he (Holbrooke) was a sentinel meant to watch over the events.
First Lady. Virginia Madsen's playing the senator from Alaska. I think she's a great addition to the show. And last episode she tested everyone in the White House for a 'disease' -- really to see if they were aliens. All passed. But the First Lady refused to take the test.
So Virginia shows up at the White House to talk to the president and tell him everyone passed. In addition, she has a folder. She's researched the First Lady and found a lot of things didn't match. The president doesn't want to hear it. And basically kicks her out. Before she leaves out, she points out that the photo from Hurricane Katrina is like 5 years ago and the First Lady hasn't aged a bit.
The president later goes to the senator's office. He wants to know who has seen the file. She tells him no one and that she hasn't told anyone about it. He wants the folder. He's suspicious.
He has a conversation with the First Lady and catches her in a lie but she thinks she got out of it. Then later he confronts her and tells her about the folder and how he knows the truth about her parents. She tells him they were aliens . . . from the Dominican Republic but had to lie and say they were Cuban because only Cubans were getting asylum from the US.
The president is so thrilled. As they hug, the First Lady's face tells the audience that she is an alien.
