Maybe she shouldn't have told a national gossip columnist, when she was playing Ellen's therapist on Ellen DeGeneres sitcom entitled Ellen, that she would be coming out shortly after Ellen did, this never would have started? But the blind items started running and people thought, "Girl's finally coming out." Then she backed out of it.
I'm sure Oprah would deny that as well; however, I know for a fact that it's true.
It's not that she's a lesbian. We can accept it even in the Black community. We can handle it. It's that she's probably close to 60, she's got more money than God and she still can't get honest. Remember all those years David Geffen lied? But I believe by the time he was Oprah's age, he had come out publicly.
It's just sad and pathetic. I came out to my parents while I was a girl. I didn't wait until college. And Oprah's not fooling anyone.
Everyone knows that Steadman's a beard or she would have married him long, long ago.
Maybe she just said she was going to come out back then because she thought it would get her good press? Or maybe she was confused? That's the only explanation for it.
If you believe her "I'm not gay." I don't.
And I doubt very many lesbians will just because Oprah's become rather notorious in the gay community.
