That's Isaiah's The World Today Just Nuts "Time To Wizz." And if you're seeing it for the first time, you may have also missed Kat's "Kat's Korner: Heart's smooth ride." So check that out. And now?
Oh, dear Lord. Oh. Dear. Lord.
How stupid have we become on the left?
Patrick Gavin has the answer at Politico in an article about Campus Progress:
The organization is highlighting a submission to its VoteAgain2010 video contest that argues that while Bieber can't vote in our midterms (he's both too young and too Canadian), shouldn't you?
"This isn't your standard election year video of celebrities asking you to vote," the ad says. "It's us, asking you to vote for celebrities who can't, celebrities like Justin Bieber. Bieber's too young to vote, yet whomever we elect in the 2010 midterm elections will impact his future and ours. ... So tell your parents, your grandparents, your Facebook friends. ... If they won't do it for you, ask them to do it for Bieber."We allegedly want informed voters and see it as our mission to inform but we are using -- hiding behind -- a celebrity? One who is not just too young to vote but is not even American so will not be able to vote in the US when he turns 18 unless he applies for American citizenship?
This is so beyond stupid. This is epic stupid.
This is event horizon stupid.
This is stupidity reaching critical mass.
We who should be informing are, read the article, targeting 12-year-olds.
Just holding young and shiny -- dangling young and shiny Justin before their faces.
We are so pathetic. That has my vote for most pathetic political campaign move of the year.
