That's Isaiah's The World Today Just Nuts "Mary Pops Back" and I really like that one. I know he was sick of Barack (aren't we all) and that was part of the reason he took two weeks off at TCI.
The Event returned on NBC tonight. I haven't watched yet. I Tivoed. I'm actually booked solid on Mondays for this month and next. An ex-girlfriend (we're friends now) if finishing up her college degree with her last class this semester.
How does that effect me?
She has an eight-year-old little girl. She had a babysitter for her but that fell through last week and she had to miss class. She must have called everyone she knew before she got to me but I said "sure" and told her to just finish up her class and I'd watch through the end of April. (I would do May as well but her mother's due in at the start of that month and staying through for graduation.)
I know the little girl from when her mother and I dated and she's not a problem at all. We played board games tonight. She wanted to play Clue which was pretty interesting. I would have thought she would have gone with Trouble or Sorry or something else. I have an entire closet filled with board games. Some of which have never been opened because it's hard to find people who like to play them. I mean, Monopoly, Scrabble and Life, no problem. But on other games, it's hard to find people who know them and when we get to be adults it seems like a lot of us don't want to try to learn a new game.
It was a lot of fun but I do not have the energy of an eight-year-old and I was up until after two last night because I just couldn't get to sleep. Kept having nightmares. In some there were bed bugs. In others? I remember something about a giant and that's it. I woke up and I just remembered a giant trying to grab me. I should correct my statement, I could get to sleep but kept having nightmares until after two. (I had gotten up and fixed some hot chocolate by that point which seemed to calm my nightmares down.)
