There's so much trash online and you can include Kotaku there as well for this:
No, it's not a good one. It's sexist and vile. It's also just plain trashy. The Roots have a token White and are otherwise African-American -- they're all male, if you know them at all it's probably from their work with Eryka Badu. Thanks assholes because America's going to think we all were raised in a barn.
If we had a guest in our home and I said "lying ass bitch" as she entered, my mother would have washed my mouth out with soap, made me apologize before rinsing out the soap and sent me to bed without dinner.
Michele Bachmann was a guest. NBC needs to fire The Roots.
They're job, they're ONLY job on the Jimmy Fallon show is to provide non-controversial music. They're a house band, not a guest.
And if they're going to insult any guest, they need to be fired.
There's no discussion on this, there's no debate.
I don't care if the guest had been Adolf Hitler. If you invite Hitler on your show, then he is your guest and you do not disrespect him as he enters.
There was no reason for the show to have Bachmann on.
But once they invited her to be a guest, they owed her the same treatment of any guest. She was not treated in a polite manner.
The Roots need to be fired.
And they also need to apologize because I know damn well their mothers did not raise them to act that way. Sadly, I'm not sure White America knows that. I'm not calling White America stupid or even racist. I'm saying that when a group of Black men act this way, it becomes, "Huh? Maybe it's a Black thing?"
They've disgraced the Black community.
